Enquiries and applications
Contact and project forms collect your name, email or telephone, company if provided, selected service, language and message. Spontaneous applications also include your area of interest. Submissions are saved in our internal management system with request metadata, including the referring page, IP information and browser information. We use them to answer requests, assess applications and prevent abuse. There is no newsletter subscription or marketing permission attached to these forms.
Email and external contact links
Email correspondence is processed through our internally operated mail system. Our website does not send a form submission through an external AI service. Clicking an email link opens your email application. Clicking WhatsApp opens WhatsApp, whose own privacy terms then apply. Do not send passwords or identity documents in an initial enquiry.
Operational logs and security
The web server records technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, time, status and browser information, to operate and protect the service. These logs are separate from optional analytics. Daily log rotation is configured to keep seven rotated log files, in addition to the current file. Access is restricted to authorised administration.
Infrastructure and recipients
The website and its local database are hosted in Switzerland. Email is handled through an internally operated mail system. Website fonts, icons and visual libraries are served from this website; no external marketing or analytics provider is embedded in the audited public pages. Authorised staff and hosting and infrastructure providers process data where required for these functions. A Swiss server location does not mean that every provider operation, support activity, email destination or WhatsApp communication takes place exclusively in Switzerland.
Retention
The analytics retention and deletion rules are described below. Contact requests, correspondence and applications currently have no automatic expiry mechanism in the website application. Retention must be assessed for the handling of the request and applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request review or deletion. Withdrawing analytics permission stops future measurement; it does not automatically delete previously stored events or correspondence.
Your choices and rights
You can refuse optional analytics and change that choice at any time. Subject to applicable Swiss data protection law, you may request information about your data, correction or deletion. Other rights, including objection or portability, depend on the applicable law and circumstances. Contact our privacy address; you can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Where the GDPR applies, the relevant additional rights remain available.
How measurement works
May we measure how this website is used? With your permission, we record pages visited, visit source, language, device category, WhatsApp clicks and successful form submissions. No advertising trackers or form contents.
Optional first-party analytics starts only after consent. We use a random identifier in sessionStorage for a journey in one browser tab; it expires after 30 minutes without a measured action or when the tab closes. These are estimated visits, not unique people. The consent cookie ds_analytics lasts 180 days. Events are stored on our server for 90 days and purged daily. Analytics excludes names, emails, form contents, full IP addresses, full referrer URLs, URL queries and browser fingerprints. A separate, daily rotating IP digest limits abuse and is deleted daily. It is not linked to journeys. No advertising or cross-site tracking. Change your choice below at any time; refusal stops future collection and clears the local session identifier. Existing events expire under the retention policy. GPC and Do Not Track disable analytics. Operational server logs and submitted enquiries are separate from analytics.
Separately, ds_language remembers a language you choose for 365 days. Protected admin functions use a login session cookie. These functional cookies do not require analytics to be enabled.
